भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम ने आज कमाल कर दिया है. ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 1-0 से हराकर महिला टीम सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच गयी है. ये पहली बार है जब टीम सेमीफाइनल में खेलेगी. भारत की तरफ से सिर्फ एक गोल किया गया जो गुरजीत कौर ने किया. इससे पहले 1980 ओलंपिक्स में महिला हॉकी टीम ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन रहा था. तब भी टीम टॉप 4 का हिस्सा बनने में कामयाब हुई थी. इस बार पुरुष हॉकी टीम भी सेमीफाइनल तक पहुंच गयी है. 49 सालों के बाद पुरुष हॉकी टीम ने इतिहास दोहराया है.
