गुजरात भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) के सीनियर नेता और कर्नाटक के पूर्व गवर्नर वजुभाई वाला खुद राजपूत हैं. वैसे में गुजरात के मांगरोल में कारडिया राजपूत के जरिए वजुभाई वाला का सन्मान कार्यक्रम के साथ लोकसंगीत का आयोजन किया गया. लोकसंगीत के कार्यक्रम के बीच में लोगों ने वजुभाई वाला पर हजारों रुपयों के नोटो की बारिश की. वजुभाई वाला स्टेज पर खड़े थे और लोग उनपर पैसों की बारिश कर रहे थे. पैसे इतने ज्यादा उड़ाए गये की इस जमा करने के लिए 3 से 4 लोगों को लगाया गया. देखें वीडियो.
