कर्नाटक में आज से बसवराज की शुरूआत हो गई है. बसवराज बोम्मई कर्नाटक के नए मुख्यमंत्री बने हैं. बसवराज येदियुरप्पा की जगह राज्य के नए मुख्यमंत्री बने हैं. सूत्रों के मुताबिक कर्नाटक में इस बार बीजेपी तीन डिप्टी सीएम के फॉर्मूले को आजमाने जा रही है. बीएस येदियुरप्पा के इस्तीफे के बाद मंगलवार शाम को केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षकों धर्मेंद्र प्रधान, जी किशन रेड्डी और कर्नाटक बीजेपी प्रभारी अरुण सिंह की देखरेख में बीजेपी विधायक दल की बैठक हुई थी, जिसमें येदियुरप्पा ने अपने करीबी और लिंगायत समुदाय से आने वाले राज्य के गृहमंत्री बोम्मई के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा जिन्हें सर्वसम्मति से विधायक दल का नेता चुन लिया गया. देर रात बोम्मई ने राज्यपाल थावरचंद गहलोत से मुलाकात की और आज शपथग्रहण के बाद राज्य के अलगे मुख्यमंत्री बन गए हैं. देखें ये एपिसोड.
Chief Minister-elect Basavaraj S Bommai has become the new Chief Minister of Karnataka. The name has been decided in the BJP legislature party meeting. Basavaraj Bommai was the home minister in the BS Yediyurappa government and was among the top contenders for the chief minister's post. Just like the outgoing Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who resigned on Monday, the new chief minister is also from the politically influential Lingayat community. He has taken oath as the 23rd chief minister of Karnataka at 11 am on Wednesday. As the 61-year old took oath from Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday, it was the second instance of a father-son duo becoming Chief Minister of Karnataka, after HD Deve Gowda and HD Kumaraswamy.
