दिल्ली में किसानों की ट्रैक्टर रैली देखते ही देखते हिंसक हो गई. रैली में शामिल हुए कुछ उपद्रवी तत्वों ने आईटीओ से लेकर लाल किले तक जमकर हिंसा की और पूरी तरह से अपना कब्जा कर लिया. आईटीओ पर सिंघू बॉर्डर से लेकर गाजिपुर बॉर्डर तक के किसान पहुंचे. गौरतलब है कि किसानों ने पहले ही लाल किले तक रैली ले जाने की बात कही गई थी. लेकिन किसानों नेताओं और पुलिस की इसे लेकर बात गई थी. इसके बावजूद भी किसान लाल किले तक पहुंच गए.
