भारतीय ओलंपिक मेडलवीर जिन्होंने टोक्यो ओलंपिक में देश को गौरवान्वित किया और 7 मेडल जीत कर हिंदुस्तान में इतिहास रच दिया, उनके सम्मान में आजतक ने एक खास कार्यक्रम 'जय हो-सितारों का आयोजन किया. भारत के टोक्यो ओलंपिक पदक विजेताओं ने शनिवार को इस कार्यक्रम में शिरकत की और अपने ओलंपिक सफर के बारे में बताया. इस कार्यक्रम में सभी टोक्यो ओलंपिक भारतीय खिलाड़ियों का सम्मान किया गया. भारतीय हॉकी टीम खिलाड़ियों ने आजतक को टोक्यो ओलंपिक के मैच के बारे में बताया. भारतीय पुरुष हॉकी टीम कप्तान मनप्रीत ने बताया कि जब हम मैच जीत गए थे और मैंने घर पर वीडियो कॉल किया तब मां रो भी रही थी और हंस भी रही थी क्योंकि मेरे पापा का ये सपना था कि मैं मेडल लेकर आऊं लेकिन जब मेडल आया तो वो हमारे बीच नहीं हैं. इस बात का मां और मुझे बेहद ज्यादा दुख था. देखें आगे क्या बोले मनप्रीत.
To felicitate and honor the Indian Tokyo Olympic medalists, Aaj Tak organized a special program 'Jai Ho Sitaro Ka Samman' dedicated to Indian players on Saturday. In this program, all the Indian Olympic players participated and shared their voyage to the Tokyo Olympics. Indian Hockey team players participated in the program and shared about their international match experience. Men's Hockey Team captain Manpreet Singh told about the time when after winning the match he called at his home. After hearing about the news his mother had mixed emotions as they both were missing Manpreet's father at such a victorious moment. Manpreet said it was my father's dream to watch me bagging a medal but it could not be possible. Watch this video.
