ताऊते तूफान से मची तबाही के बीच इंडियन नेवी राहत और बचाव कार्य में लगातार जुटी हुई है. खबरों के मुताबिक समंदर में फंसे बार्ज पी-305 में 273 लोग फंसे हुए थे. उनकी जिंदगी बचाने के लिए नेवी ने सबसे पहले आईएनएस कोच्चि को मदद के लिए भेजा. आईएनएस कोच्चि के बाद आईएनएस कोलकाता और आइएनएस तलवार को रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में उतारा गया. ऑफशोर सपोर्ट वेसल्स अहिल्या और ओसन एनर्जी को भी तत्काल मदद के लिए रवाना किया गया. अतत: सभी लोगों की जिंदगियां बचा ली गई. देखें वीडियो.
The Indian Navy is continuously engaged in relief and rescue operations after the destruction caused by Cyclone Tautkae.
