19 जून 2019 नुसरत जहां और बिज़नेसमैन निखिल जैन शादी के बंधन में बंधे. नुसरत जहां ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी टीएमसी से नई नई सांसद बनी थीं, ऐसे में नुसरत की ये शादी सोशल मीडिया पर भी सुपरहिट हो गई. शादी की ज़ोर शोर से चर्चा खुद नुसरत जहां ने ही करवायी. नुसरत जहां ने इंस्ट्राग्राम पर अपनी शादी के वीडियो अपलॉड किए. लेकिन अब नुसरत कह रही हैं कि उनकी शादी तुर्की कानून के मुताबिक हुई है, भारत में रजिटर्ड नहीं हुई है, ऐसे में ये शादी वेलिड नहीं है और तलाक लेने का मतलब ही नहीं बनता है. इस पर अब बीजेपी ने सवाल उठा दिए हैं. देखें

"TMC MP Nusrat Jahan Ruhi Jain’s personal life, who she is married to or who she is living in with, should not be anyone’s concern.
