  • Marnus Labuschagne makes his ODI debut for Australia

West Indies, Bangladesh, South Africa and Sri Lanka, the last few teams to tour India. All the four were blown away by the Indians. Now though, they are probably facing their toughest test in recent times as they welcome the Aussies. Both the sides are in red hot form and with both naming their best possible squad, it promises to be a cracker of a series. The first ODI will be played in Mumbai. A truckload of runs can be expected so both the teams' bowlers will be under pressure. Why I write bowlers? Because the two probably have the best bowling unit going around. Bumrah, Shami, Chahal for the hosts and Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood for the visitors. It is not only the bowling though which is impressive, the batting line-up of the two are also eye-catching. Kohli, Rohit, Dhawan and in the opposition, Smith, Warner and Labuschagne, who has a chance to make his debut here. Why I write his name despite him not playing an ODI, because he has been brilliant in the red ball format and it will be interesting to see if he can show the same kind of form in coloured clothing. Overall on paper, both the sides look equal, India though, playing at home will be termed as favourites. Let's not forget though, the last time the Aussies came to India to play an ODI series, they won it. Finch's captaincy was excellent then, he will once again be leading the Aussies. Both the sides will want to begin the series with a win. Who will come out on top? Do join us to find out.
