समंदर में भारत की ताक बढ़ाने की दिशा में DRDO ने एक बड़ी छलांग लगाई है. ओडिशा में बालासोर के पास एक द्वीप पर DRDO ने Supersonic Missile assisted release of Torpedo यानि SMART का सफल परीक्षण किया. इसके जरिए दुश्मन की पनडुब्बियों को नष्ट करना आसान हो जाएगा.
India successfully tested a hybrid weapon system 'Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo' (SMART), from Wheeler Island off the coast of Odisha on Monday. SMART is a missile assisted release of lightweight Anti-Submarine Torpedo System for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) operations far beyond Torpedo range.
