The Election Commission on Friday suspended a Presiding Officer and three others for carrying an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) in a vehicle that belonged to an Assam BJP candidate and ordered a repoll at a polling station in Ratabari seat of Assam. Much similar incident was repeated when several EVMs and VVPATs were found at the residence of a TMC leader Gautam Ghosh's residence in Uluberia, West Bengal, ahead of the polling.
