अयोध्या के गुप्तार घाट पर एक ही परिवार के 12 लोग हादसे का शिकार हो गये. आगरा का ये परिवार मन्नत पूरी होने पर अयोध्या दर्शन के लिये आया था लेकिन सरयू के घाट पर परिवार के एक सदस्य का पैर फिसला और वो सरयू में जा गिरा. उसे बचाने के चक्कर में बाकी 11 लोग भी डूब गये. हादसे में छह लोगों की मौत हो गयी है जबकि तीन लोग अभी तक लापता हैं. पूरे हादसे में एक 7 साल की बच्ची ने वो हौसला दिखाया कि मौत को भी मात दे दी. देखें 7 की बात.
12 people of the same family became drowned in Saryu river at Guptar Ghat in Ayodhya. This family of Agra had come to visit Ayodhya after the fulfillment of the vow, but a member of the family slipped and fell in Saryu.
