10 अगस्त से मोहर्रम शुरू हो रहा है. कई जगहों पर तैयारियां भी होने लगी थीं. लेकिन शनिवार को यूपी पुलिस का आदेश आया कि इस बार मोहर्रम पर सख्ती रहेगी. जुलूस को इजाजत नहीं होगी. ताजिया निकालने का परमिशन भी नहीं होगा। यूपी के डीजीपी के आदेश के मुताबिक किसी तरह के हथियार प्रदर्शन की इजाजत नहीं होगी. उधर शिया समुदाय ने कहा कि डीजीपी की चिट्ठी से सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द्र बिगड़ेगा. आरोप है कि डीजीपी की चिट्ठी की भाषा अभद्र है. शिया नेताओं का कहना है कि ये फैसला समाज में अमन चैन बिगड़ सकता है. देखें ये वीडियो.
The Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday released new sets of guidelines, disallowing all kinds of religious processions during Muharram, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 10-day festival is set to begin on August 10. The UP Directorate General of Police (DGP), Mukul Goel, ordered that Muharram should be celebrated in the state alongside adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour and by keeping in the mind the restrictions that are in place to tackle the pandemic.
